It's crazy that 2 months have already gone by since Zach joined us. He's such a fun little boy and it's so much fun watching as he learns new things. He's learned how to smile (I started taking the above picture when he was smiling but this expression was in response to the flash), he makes a lot of new cooing sounds (makes the one-sided conversations a bit more exciting), and he can now hold and shake a rattle if we put it in his hand. We're still working on getting him to sleep longer at night. Right now he'll sleep for 3-5 hours before the first feeding and then 2-3 hours every time after that.

So cute! Looks like he's plumping out a bit--just like my fat little man. I am DYING to see Seth's smile. He's been trying for two weeks now, but he's not consistent at all. He's got cooing down pat, though.
Sounds like ours boys have very similar sleeping schedules. I never thought I'd be so excited for the time when I only get woken up ONCE during the night (I don't dare pray for ALL night. Not yet).
PS--Does he fall asleep without his pacifier? Because sometimes I sure wish I could duct tape Seth's to his mouth...

I love the pictures! I can't believe how fast he's growing! I think he looks so much like you (as much as a two month old baby boy can, anyway.) :) I'm glad he calmed down after his shots last night and it was fun seeing you for a bit! We need to catch up!
Yowza--he's growing up! I hardly recognize him anymore...
