Props to our ward

So Derrick and I really love our ward here in Wymount. There are so many families who are so friendly and fun. To name a few:

I love the people I work with in primary. That calling is so fun and I end up laughing a lot of the time. Today one of the activities was follow the leader with the leader holding a picture of Christ above their head for all the followers to see. The purpose was to teach the children about following Jesus. I thought it was a great way to teach that important message to little kids. Jenn definitely does great with primary. One funny thing with the game was that the oldest kid just turned 6 and several are only 3 so many of the kids really didn't understand the game. They followed around for awhile and then the game turned into a lot of random running and funny actions.

Our hometeachers, Josh Dickinson and Jared Chandler, came over this morning. We definitely get some good conversations going before and during the spiritual message part. Another great part is that they're not just our friends once a month so they can get their hometeaching checked off the list. Josh and his wife Cierra had us over for dinner tonight with Cierra's twin sisters. One definite highlight was playing Isaac Asimov's Robots Mystery Game. It involved an 80's VHS tape and different packs of clues. The video part was amazing with terrible acting, cheesy graphics, and really funny looking robots. It was pretty classic and we were successful in figuring out the clues and determining the culprit. Mission accomplished.

Yea! I didn't know YOU had a blog so I'm glad you found me! I have to make a correction though. I'm married to Boyd. Nathan is my son.

Congrats on being pregnant! When is your exact due date? I have a little chart at the very bottom of my blog tracking all of my friends' pregnancies, so now I can add another person. yea!

Oh! The Rachel and Nathan on my page is Rachel Mae, one of my Nauvoo roommates. I know her husband some so I put his name on too. I have you listed below as Rachel Law. That's a funny coincidence with the 2 Nathans.

Thanks for the congrats! I'm due on the 13th of July so I'm coming up on being half-way done.

Lol... wow, that is rather coincidental. I guess I didn't even scroll down far enough to see the Rachel Law. Too funny.

Now that I know your due date I'll be sure to put up a countdown ticker! Congrats on being almost halfway! It's such a huge step knowing that after the 20 week mark it's all downhill.

I'm glad you're liking your ward! And I also think that if your bun is a girl, you should name it Tara...its the best name out there. :) And if its a guy, you can just spell it Terah, like Abraham's dad. haha. VETO? :)

So Derrick definitely got confused when you referred to the baby as a bun so I had to explain the Tara-ism to him. Good times.
